Check the assets to be inventoried in the network treeview then click on the 'Inventory selection' button in the main toolbar (see opposite) or right click on the networks treeview and select 'Invent ...' in the contextual menu.

If the administrator login is empty when you ask to make inventories, the login window is automatically showing.

Execute the inventories
Click on the 'Start' button to execute the concurrent scan threads of the assets listed in the grid. The progress of each inventory is displayed in the grid with a progress bar and a short description. At the end of an inventory, the final state is reported :

: Inventory awaiting execution
: Inventory in progress
: Inventory realised with success
: Inventory incomplete
: Error encountered in the inventory

Moreover, the real-time monitoring of the process is displaying in the status bar of the window.

Edit the remote administrator's credentials
Click on the 'Login' button to edit the current network administrator login.

Manage the assets grid
With the 'Tools' button , you can access at some functions to manage the assets grid :
Zoom +/-, search a partial or complete text, print layout, print and export the grid in several formats (CSV, HTML, RTF, TXT, XLS and XML).

Suspend and stop the inventories
When the inventory process is running, you can stop it by clicking the 'Stop' button or suspend it by clicking the 'Suspend' button . In this state, you can resume the process by clicking one more time the 'Suspend' button or stop it by clicking the 'Stop' button .
