Invent Upshot can scan computers for a broad range of information listed in the Invent treeview. With this treeview available in the 'View Inventories' tab View inventories of the left panel, you can restrict or expand the information collected during inventories and change the scan and display order. All new informations added in the future releases of Invent Upshot will be automatically, unless modified by you, included in the next inventories. Keep in mind that the number of selected informations affect the duration of an inventory.

Expand or restrict the collected informations
Simply, check a instance (level one of the treeview) or a information (level 2 of the treeview) for include it in a inventory job. Uncheck a instance or a information for exclude it from the inventory. Moreover, you can select, deselect, expand and collapse all the nodes in one click.

InfoWhen you check or uncheck a instance node, all his children (informations) are checked or unchecked too.


Change the scan and display order
First, select a node in the treeview and click on one of 'move the selection' buttons (first First, previous Prior, next Next or last Last) on the Invent treeview toolbar or on one of the 'Move' line in the contextual menu. So, you can change the order of the instances and change the order of the informations in a instance.


Export and print the treeview
Like all other treeview, you can print Print and export Export this treeview in different formats ('DOC', 'HTML' or 'TXT').


Save the settings
When you have finished your settings, click on the 'Save the treeview' button Save on the invent treeview toolbar or on the 'Save' line in the contextual menu.


Identification of the inventories seniority
At the bottom of the invent treeview, you can expand a collapsed panel that lets you manage the ranges of the inventories seniority's identification. The two first spin-edits set the range of days for identify the Invent recent recent inventories. The two last spin-edits set the range of days for identify the Invent old old inventories. Beyond these ranges, the inventories are considered Invent obsolete obsolete. These states are reported in the explorer-like assets grid (in the 'List' tab of the right panel).


Concurrent scan threads
Into the collapsed panel 'Settings' Settings, you can set the number of concurrent scan threads (1 through 40) to speed up the inventory process (4 by default).

InfoBe careful, a value too high can make your computer overloaded !
