Edit the location, the name and the format
To edit the destination file, click on the folder button and choose the location, edit the name and select an available export format : Saving to a Windows bitmap file (BMP) offers good quality but generates large files. So, you can save the chart to different image formats to improve / reduce the size and quality. The image formats currently supported are BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG and TIFF.

You can directly change the location and the name of the file in the edit control.

Scope of export
By default, only the current pane will be exported but you can choose to export all the panes of the chart viewer by clicking the corresponding radio in the groupbox 'Scope of export' .

Picture characteristics
Invent Upshot allows you to select a predefined standard size or edit a customized size for the image by selecting 'Customized' in the combo list and change the width and height spin edits. When you select the JPEG format, you have the possibility to reduce the size and quality of the exported file by changing the position of the cursor in the 'Quality' trackbar.

Export the chart
When the settings are made, click on the 'Export' button . If you have checked 'View the picture after treatment', Invent Upshot automatically opens the software associated with the selected image extension (windows files associations).
