Width of columns
By clicking on the 'Adjust columns' button or on the 'Adjust columns' line of the contextual menu, Invent Upshot adjusts automatically the width of the visible columns of the current grid based on their content.

Zoom
By clicking on the 'Zoom' button , you can select in the dropdown menu the positive or negative percentage of expansion of the texts of the grid (-80% to +80%).

Layout
Invent Upshot lets you modify the layout of data of each grid separately. Click on the 'Grids layout' button or on the 'Structuring ...' line of the contextual menu for execute this tool.

Expand and Collapse nodes
When the data of the grid are grouped by columns (see layout of data), you can expand or collapse all the nodes with the corresponding buttons.

Export
For export the grid in several formats (CSV, HTML, RTF, TXT, XLS and XML), click on the 'Export grid' button or on the 'Export ...' line of the contextual menu.

Search bar
Each grid has a built-in Firefox style search pane. With it, you can search a single or a multiple occurences of a partial or complete text. To show the search bar, click on the 'Displaying search' button or on the 'Search ...' line in the contextual menu. When the search pane is visible, text to search for can be typed in the edit control and when a matching cell is found, the grid will automatically move the focus to the first matching cell. From there, other matching cells can be found with the 'Forward' / 'Backward' buttons. Press the 'Highlight' button to highlight all occurrences found.

Printing layout, preview and print
The 'Printing layout' button lets you manage the print job. You can change many aspects of the final document like the borders style, fonts, headers and footers (date/time, title and page numbers ), margins, spacing, orientation and size. Your settings can be saved and reloaded.
By clicking on the 'Print grid' button or on the 'Print ...' line of the contextual menu, Invent Upshot shows a preview window of the print job. The preview window lets you browse the pages and print the document.
